RailPlan International, Inc. is a full service company specializing in all aspects of the rail passenger vehicle industry. Our main focus is on supplying “Turn-Key / Start to Finish” solutions for our clients. We have a broad spectrum of experience with many of the major railroad authorities and car builders in the world.

 

Presently RailPlan operates four distinctive business lines: the Vehicle Products Group, Mechanical Services Group, Engineering Group, and the Consulting Group. RailPlan started doing business in 1986 and continues to expand our offering of products and services.

 

The Mechanical Services and Consulting Group currently has several multi-year vehicle maintenance, warehouse operation, and consulting contracts with Virginia Railway Express (VRE) and Maryland’s MTA/Marc Services. Our Vehicle Products group also has multiple manufacturing contracts with Amtrak including the prototype Viewliner II Diner and Acela High Speed Dining Car interiors.
