RailPlan has assembled a team of engineering and industrial design experts capable of designing complete passenger railcars of all types. We are diligent at keeping up with the latest industry standards, recommended practices, rules and regulations.

Currently all projects are initially developed using Autodesk Inventor 3-D software. However, we have the capability to work with Solid Works, Catia, Pro-Engineer and other parametric programs. By working in 3-D, our vehicle designers can insure that what can be designed, can be built.

This approach has been successfully employed on several recent RailPlan projects and is continually being refined to decrease the design time and improve system integration and manufacturability. This process also allows subcontractors to go directly to computer aided manufacture with out the requirement to manually layout parts for production, saving time and money, and improving quality.
