Modular design is a way to minimize the
amount of work performed inside the car and
improves quality, allows trouble shooting
prior to installation and decreases the
amount of installation time. RailPlan has
been successful with modular interiors which
include toilet rooms, food service galleys, phone stations,
bedrooms, crew offices, operator cabs and public
showers.
All components are packaged in "kits" to
accommodate the carbuilders production
schedule and staging of material for
installation into the car. Kit packages
include modular subassemblies with all
necessary hardware for ease of
each installation.
