RailPlan
recently received an order from Amtrak to design and build a
new prototype galley for their Acela Express trains with
follow on orders for 19 trainsets. The Acela Express
trainsets are currently going through a major upgrade
program.
RailPlan
recently received an order from Amtrak to design and build a
new prototype galley for their Viewliner series of cars with
follow on orders for two more. Amtrak is currently
requesting proposals from carbuilders for multiple
configurations of the “Viewliner II” series of new single
level cars.
Motive Power Industries and
RailPlan
recently received a contract from Virginia Railway Express (VRE)
for Locomotive Services.
RailPlan recently completed testing and
has started production of 105 portable transfer bridgeplates
for use on Amtrak’s fleet.
