Replacement of cab doors on Amtrak’s AEM 7 locomotives. The new doors are “pre-hung” with inner and outer frames, hinges, door lock and window. It is installed into the existing carbody opening in the “pre-hung” condition and attached with fasteners. The installation is similar to the way a “pre-hung” door is installed into your home, however it meets all of the structural, smoke, flame and toxicity requirements of the railroad.
