RailPlan was responsible for the installation of a state of the art mobile “Wi-Fi” wireless internet access system into Amtrak’s high speed “Acela” train. Installation included installation of a main control electronics rack in the crew room, rooftop antenna on the café car, and transponders and antennas on all of the other cars in the trainset.
